Talk Early, Talk Often: Parents Can Make a Difference in Teen Alcohol Use
The Coalition has received a $500 grant from the Boone County Community Foundation to implement a communication campaign aimed at reducing youth substance use.
Our thanks go to the Boone County Community Foundation for their dedication to the prevention of youth substance use and for the resources to assist us in carrying our message to all Boone County citizens. |

A prescription drug disposal bin is now available at the Public Safety Building. With the help of Crimestoppers and CVS pharmacy, the Boone County Drug Prevention Coalition (BCDPC) installed the bin in order to keep prescription drugs out of the hands of Boone County youth. It is available 24 hours per day, seven days per week. It is located in the lobby of the Public Safety Building at 615 N Main St in Belvidere.
